My daughter lyla has been with Suzanne for 10 months since she was 9 months old. I met a couple childminders before Suzanne but wasn't very impressed. As soon as I met Suzanne I knew that she was the perfect person to care for my rather lively daughter.

Suzanne is calm, kind and very loving. She cares for lyla with such love and affection as she does all the children in her care, She presents a homely environment where the children have a play room full of toys. Lyla especially likes the chalkboard on the wall, even if she does like writing on Suzanne's wall even more. But Suzanne doesn't mind, in fact, it makes her smile. Suzanne also does messy play with the children, be it painting, sticking, or play dough lyla sure has fun! Suzanne works with the EYFS so the children are doing different activities each day. The children aren't just restricted to the playroom, they have full run of the ground floor which is safe and secure.

Suzanne likes to take the children to play groups so that they can develop their interaction with other children. She also takes them to local parks almost on a daily basis. Lyla enjoys picking flowers (grass) and presenting them to Suzanne.

After a busy morning which includes breakfast and snack, Suzanne gives the children a home cooked meal. Suzanne used to be a chef, so as you can imagine, the meals, such as beef casserole and roast lamb, are healthy and very tasty. Suzanne has introduced lyla to many healthy foods such as peppers, radishes, carrots, strawberries and kiwi.

Suzanne provides a learning journal each day so we know exactly what lyla has eaten and drank, how long she has slept, her nappy changes as well as all the mischief she has got up to : )

Suzanne has been a godsend to us. I can go to work safe in the knowledge that lyla is being cared for by a wonderful, caring, motherly woman whom I trust immensely. I cannot recommend Suzanne highly enough!
