I have a sensitive and hands on approach towards working with children. I also have two younger brothers, which have had a leading impact on my career choice and an understanding of children.
Over the last 11 years I have gained knowledge and a wide range of experiences as an Early Years Practitioner and a Nanny/Manny, from working in different paid rolls as a Nursery Manager, Room Leader and an Early Years Practitioner. I have been a Nanny alongside doing my other roles for a number of different families for around 10 years full time and part time.
I am now a full time Nanny and work for a number of different families at any given time. Offering a high standard, and heartfelt level of childcare. Which now gives me 9 years of experience of working house holds all over the UK helping families find balance and nurturing these little minds that are the next generation.
I have measureless knowledge on child attachments, weaning, sleep routines, potty training and how to build positive child and adult relationships. As well as that, I have experience working with families with severe needs. And also working with children who have mental health issues due to being in vulnerable environments. These children were as young as 3.
Being a male childcare specialist is amazing i may be the last man standing lol. But I wouldn’t change it for the world. Its moulded me into a heart-warming kind and caring individual.
This is more than just work or childcare. I genuinely love to help families find balance as well as to promote positive change and have fun at the same time. Children have given me the Knick name “Jossy Care”
I even have a blog based around children and parenting, just to show how passionate I am about child development and positive parenting.
I am committed to doing the best for the families and children that I work alongside, and I always do this professionally. I do this with sole focus on the child’s wellbeing and personal and social development. I always keep in mind that what I do can have a long-term or a short-term effect on the children in my care, so I always work within legislation to safeguard myself and them.
Level 3 in childcare .. first aid and safeguarding.

For as long as I’ve known this man he has always had a caring and loving nature. He has always been good with children of all ages and he is the definition of doing something that you truly love. Anything this man does is from the heart, he will love and protect your children as if they are his own. He will teach them right from wrong at all times in a manner no parent can fault and a lot of parents can learn from. Having an exceptional work ethic and mindset ready to apply to any profession; the childcare industry are lucky to have Joss. If he doesn’t deserve the award and even more than I don’t know who does.
