Melanie is such a friendly and kind lady, my daughter and me instantly felt so comfortable around her. Melanie is so easy to get on with, her kind and fun personality makes it so easy for you to feel so comfortable. Melanie has helped me out at such short notice, and even collected and dropped my daughter home. It was such an amazing feeling knowing that my daughter was safe and happy, as Melanie sent me updates throughout the day. My daughter was so chatty when Melanie dropped her home, she told me all about her time. I am so glad to have met Melanie, so grateful for your help at such short notice, Poppy absolutely loves you! Highly recommended :)

Mel has been looking after my two children ages 4 and 6 for the last few years . I could not ask for anything more; she is kind, loving , nurturing , and an absolutely lovely lady . From the moment I walked into her home 3 years ago , I knew I could never leave my children anywhere else . My children absolutely love her , to the point that they are disappointed when they ask " are we going to Mel Mels today "? And it's not a day they go !! Mel is also very respectful in any delicate situations and has been very caring and considerate during recent difficult times and a period of change within my family .
Mel goes above and beyond the call of duty , and lots of little things like following the children's interests , remembering special occasions and dates , giving lots of cuddles and attention , and generally being lovely.... Make her the most fantastic childminder and we feel very lucky to have her .
Thank you Mel, Dave and Grace for sharing your home and I am personally very grateful to have found you x

My two boys have been in Mel's care since September 2013 when I returned to work from maternity leave. Her natural caring instincts coupled with a loving child friendly/fun environment made it an easy transition for all! My 9 month baby happily goes to Mel and is thriving in her full time care, my 4 year old is eager to share his news with her before & after school. Recently it was Mel's birthday and my 4 year old in the middle of his chatter requested "Can we buy cake for Mel because she is lovely" I couldn't have been happier as it showed my boys were secure and happy in Mel's care. Super childminder loved by all.

Mel has been my twin daughters child minder for 5 months now. I find her loving, caring, friendly and calming towards my children. My children feel at home in Mel's setting and it is personal to allow them to feel welcome which is brilliant as you can be reassured that the children are happy while they are not in the care of their parents and it has a home from home presence. Mel runs varied activities including activities relating to occasions as well she lets the children have free play. Mel provides each child with a diary of what they have been up to in her care and put pictures of them in it as well. I think it is great as a keepsake. She encourages my children to overcome challenges, which is brilliant. My children have never left Mel's house unhappy and are always pleased when they are told they are going there and I wish she was available for more hours. I would recommend Melanie Pierce, Mini Treasures to anybody searching for a child minder. xx

I couldn't ask for better child care. Mel is exceptional! My daughter finds it hard to attach herself with other adults but she has absolutely fallen for Mel's warm, funny, empathetic and caring personality. My child is growing into a rounded, contented, happy little girl thanks to Mel. Mel is thorough in her application of the early years curriculum in conjunction with my daughter's social,emotional and moral up bringing. My daughter loves going to her and I know I have left her in the best possible hands. Mel goes out of her way to accommodate any difficulties we have had and has shown great support to both ourselves as well as our daughter. If anyone asked for a recommendation, it would be Mel every time. X

My son was with Mel about 5 years ago when he was about 10 months old. Mel provided outstanding care for my son and he loved being with her. She took much of the stress away from going to work as I didn't ever worry about Connor.
I would definitely recommend Mel for any childcare needs. She is a wonderful person and fantastic with children.

Mel is the most caring and patient person I' be had the pleasure of knowing. She has been great with my daughter since the age of 2/half up to now at the age of 3/ half. My daughter loves seeing her and always comes home a happy bunny. Your child will be well cared for by this lady. Big love! Xxx

Mel has been looking after my children before and after school for nearly 5 years now. She is extremely caring and my children love going to hers. She worries about them when they have a problem, cares for them if they don't feel well, has fun and laughs with them and I have been entirely satisfied with the service Mel has provided over the years. She is also very flexible which helps busy Mums like myself when I need extra hours. She always goes that extra bit further because she genuinely cares for children - she remembers their birthdays, does party teas for them, takes them to the park etc. I would highly recommend Mel to anyone looking for a genuine, caring and hardworking childminder who loves children.

Mel provide childcare for our daughter from the age of 7and half months up to 4 years old, and We couldnt of been more happy. My daughter bonded with Mel and her family from the beginning and they continue to share that bond! As well as being very professional she was always easy to approach as well. We had a very good working and personal relationship with her and the only reason why our daughter is no longer in her care is because she started school and the infant school was not in her catchment area. We continue to see Mel on a personal level now and our daughter still has a very good relationship with her.
I would totally recommend Mel to anyone looking for a fantastic level of care of which she gave to our daughter. Thanks Mel x

When i was living in Essex, my son was in a nursery where i wasn't happy at all with the care given and being a level 3 nursery nurse myself i decided to look for a childminder. I saw a few - but after being recommended to contact Mel, i visited and instantly i loved her home and her family and how friendly and also how mel is so passionate about her job. I knew straight away i wanted him to be looked after by her. My little boy was approx 1 year old and stayed in mels care for at least 12 months. My son ALWAYS came home happy, he loved mel, i was always given feedback on his day, photos were shared with me and his needs were taken into account at all times! I was upset when due to personal reasons i no longer needed mels care. She was like family. I would fully recommend mel to ANY family no matter what age their children are. She offers such a high quality care for your child. She is truly amazing! She is one in a million!
