Hi,
I'm Sophie and have been a live in nanny in North West London for 3 children for the past 2 and a bit years. My whole adult career has been focused on working with children. I hold a degree in BSc Childhood Studies from Leeds Beckett University and have endless experience from working in mainstream and special ed schools, charities and abroad.
I have often been described as 'calm, cool and collected' and have played a very much 'big sister' role in my current job and am very keen to keep this approach within a new family. I will be based in Wandsworth Town from mid January 2024 :)

My most recent and relevant role: The last 2 years I have spent as a Live In Nanny to a family of 5, with 3 children of ages 5, 9 and 11 based in North West London. The eldest child has a diagnosis of autism and attends a special education school. The middle boy also went through the process of 7+ exams so I have also spent endless hours prepping him for that. My role included school runs, prepping dinner time meals for family, anything children related such as laundry, organising play room/art cupboard and assisting them with home work as well as encouraging independence, new hobbies and interests and promoting a firm but fair attitude (following parents wishes). I also was able to travel with the family, abroad and UK breaks during the school holidays. I very much played a ‘big sister’ role which allowed me to support and create a safe space for all 3 children. I continued to work full time throughout the school holidays and planned plenty of fun activities across London for the children when they weren’t in camps.
My Qualifications
BSc Childhood Studies gained from Leeds Beckett University
I also have completed numerous training in safeguarding/first aid.
