About Me
Hello... I'm known as RoRo to my nanny kids!
I've worked as a nanny for over 20 years, I love the 1-1 care this enables & the close bonds I've formed with all the children! I'm firm but fun, my days mainly consist of lots of singing (usually out of tune, but the kids don't judge!!) age appropriate educational games and learning activities & story time cosied up on the sofa! We try and attend regular playgroups/classes and have play dates with children of similar ages. I love the outdoors and we do a lot of trips to the park, it's always fun going in search of a Gruffalo!
I think it is important to have good communication with the parents and work together, to create a stable, loving and consistent environment for the children.
I'm currently looking for a 3 day per week nanny position, full days.
Also open to night nannying, occasional babysits or wknd work.
My Experience
Nanny live in & live out positions, from new born -12 age. Longest position - near 8 years to 4 children. Four 3 year roles and one 2 year position. Experience working in a Montessori pre school for 2 years & currently working in a preschool.
Night nannying & proxy Parenting.
Experience with children who have severe allergies and required Epi pens to be with them at all times. Looking after children with bad Asthma & other serious health conditions that have required administering medicine on a regular basis.
My Qualifications
BA Degree in English & Dance ( MMU) GCSE in Child Development. Numerous Childcare courses over the years. Level 3 Early Years Qualification. Level 4 Advanced Sleep Training course. First Aid.
