About Me
Karen Hill-Wood:-
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder living in Wickwar and have been childminding now for 25 years. I live with my husband and 2 family cats, Biscuit and Bailey.
On my last 4 Ofsted inspections I have received the top grade of 'outstanding'. I take the Nursery Education Grant (NEF) for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. I have got my Paediatric First Aid Certificate, Level 3 Qualified in Childcare and have all the relevant insurances in place including public liability and business class car insurance.
I can offer a warm, caring home environment. I take the children on regular outings and have memberships for The Wild Place, Slimbridge, Westonbirt and Old Down Country Park. We also regularly go to the library and lots of local parks. We do lots of messy play including painting, gluing, play doh and gloop.
My Experience
During my 25 years as a childminder I have looked after children from 8 weeks old to 11 years. References available.
