About Me

I’m an experienced and passionate educator with over 16 years of experience working with children across Early Years and Primary education. I specialise in supporting children from Nursery through to Year 4.

Throughout my career, I have worked as an Early Years Teacher Key Stage 1 teacher as well as cover classes for Year 3&4 as well as Early Years Lead and Phonics Lead giving me in depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and the primary curriculum.

I am also the Founder and Tutor of Curious Cubs Hub my tutoring and educational enrichment service. Through Curious Cubs Hub I provide engaging 1:1 home tutoring and hands-on learning experiences designed around each individual child. I strongly believe that children learn best when they feel confident, supported and excited to learn, so my sessions combine structured teaching with practical, creative and play-based activities.

I have experience supporting children with additional needs and have completed further training in Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia. I understand that every child learns differently and adapt my teaching style, resources and pace to meet their individual needs.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Education Studies (2:1) alongside additional professional development and training. For me, tutoring is about much more than completing worksheets or getting the correct answer. My aim is to help every little learner develop confidence, curiosity and a genuine love of learning.
