Hello, my name is Melissa and I live in Bathgate. I am fun and friendly individual with the interest in gaining experience with children as a babysitter before completing post graduate studies in primary teaching in September 2018.
My Experience
The experience I have has provided me with an extensive skill set and initial experience with children in education and in the retail industry. I have spent the last year and a half as a fully trained kids shoes fitter and kids department manager working with children from 3months-12years old. In regards to education, I have coordinated fashion classes with Robert Gordon University, assisted in art and design classes with the James Young High School, and creative classrooms with the West Lothian College.
These roles have allowed me to gain initial experience with children and a range of creative skills which I am keen to build on through a babysitting role.
Currently hold a PVG membership & full UK driving licence.
My Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Fashion and Textile Design - September 2015
Scottish Government course in GIRFEC & The Child Protection Process - September 2017
NSPCC Child Protection: An Introduction course - currently completing

Flexible over weekday evenings, Friday afternoons and all day Saturday and Sunday.
