About Me
I am an Ofsted-registered childminder based in a brand-new family home, where I live with my husband and young daughter. I am passionate about early years education and providing a warm, nurturing, and safe environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive through play.
My setting offers a dedicated indoor playroom filled with natural light, as well as continuous access to a secure garden for outdoor play. I strongly believe in child-led learning and regularly take children to local playgroups, parks, libraries, and community activities to support their social and emotional development.
I work alongside a friendly and reliable assistant who is currently completing her Level 3 qualification in Childcare. Together, we create a calm, stimulating, and supportive environment tailored to each child’s individual needs.

My Experience
I have over 18 years of experience working within early years and primary education. I began my career in nurseries, working across different rooms, which allowed me to gain experience with children ranging from babies through to four-year-olds.
Due to moving and travelling across different parts of the UK, I have worked in a variety of settings including nurseries, schools, and holiday clubs. I have also spent time working through an education agency, supporting children in a range of educational environments. This breadth of experience has helped me develop a flexible, adaptable, and child-centred approach.
Most recently, I worked as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in a Reception class for over two years before going on maternity leave. During this time, I supported children through key developmental milestones and school readiness.
Becoming a childminder felt like a natural progression, particularly after having my daughter and settling in Shaftesbury. The EYFS framework is at the heart of my practice, and I am committed to regularly updating my training and knowledge to ensure I provide the highest standard of care and learning for the children in my setting.

Food Hygiene – Level 2
Paediatric First Aid
Training in SEN, Autism Awareness, Child Protection, EYFS Framework, and Schemas

Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Hourly rate of £4.50
