About Me
I'm a fun, caring and creative mother of two (my children are at primary & secondary school) who loves to be out and about in the fresh air but also snuggled at home playing games.
I live on the Berkshire / Oxfordshire border and have a car so travelling is easy, particularly with toddler groups and school runs.
I am warm and nurturing, fun and patient, understanding that each child learns and grows at their own pace. I am also kind, fair, consistent and firm when needed, but it comes down to always listening and being aware of the children's needs.
I have some experience working with children who have Autism (ASD), ADD, ADHD and HSP.
As children grow I encourage them to be expressive and independent whilst still being very hands on and supportive, providing a strong moral influence.
I have lots of experience with newborns so can be on-hand for new mums who might need support, encouragement and guidance as they navigate life around new baby.
I'm looking to help Parent(s) who would only need me part-time (preferably term time although this is not essential) as I already work part-time running Lego building After School Clubs for Master Builders Club in local primary schools, so I am only available until 2.30pm on weekdays.

My Experience
I am an experienced Childcare provider and mother so my experience ranges every developmental stage from newborn right up to top junior school age. I also run Lego building clubs in local schools so have years experience with children age 5-11+ and those with SEN.
My most recent nannying position was with baby twins for 2 years. Prior to that I child-minded a 3yr old and was a preschool volunteer.
As a teenager I had years of voluntary experience working my own family’s Day Nursery.
I also spent time volunteering at a home for young adults with learning disabilities so have some experience with autism ASD and Down’s syndrome.
My Qualifications
I have no formal qualifications.
I have DBS certificates from my Lego Master Builders Club, my daughter’s primary school and a local Brownies group. I also and have recent experience working with children who have SEN.
