I looked at lots of different childcare settings before I found Sue on this website.
My son was 5 months old when he started with Sue and Jess. I was very nervous about leaving him. However, Sue made the transition easier by sending pictures throughout the day. The care which is provided is to a very high standard. Sue and Jess are both very friendly and welcoming.
They do lots of different indoor and outdoor activities with the kids such as arts & crafts, reading books, visiting the park, going to the farm, singing and dancing! Sue has a lovely home with lots of toys/books and a big garden where the kids enjoy playing & the paddling pool in the summer.
Sue and Jess spend a lot of time learning through play where my son has met a number of different milestones. His development & achievements are record in his own personal folder which is given to you to take home throughout the year.
Sue has been flexible when I have needed to change my sons hours due to work commitments.
They have a friendly dog who is amazing with the children as well as a cat. As we have a dog at home it has helped my son to respect our dog and be confident around different animals.
My son loves being at Sue’s & Jess’s and will really miss not coming here anymore. He just walks in without saying bye to me. He feels very comfortable going here. Due to having a new baby and deciding to take some time off with my children my son & daughter would have spent more years in their care. I couldn't have wished for better care for my son. Thank you very much!

My son was 7 months old when he started with Shelley. I was very nervous about leaving him. However, Shelley made the transition easier by using the baby days app through the day. Shelley is very friendly and welcoming.
Shelley does lots of different indoor and outdoor activities with the kids such as arts & crafts, reading books, visiting the park and going to baby groups. Shelley has a lovely home with lots of toys/books and a garden where the kids enjoy playing.

My two children started with Nelly 2 months ago. I was very anxious about leaving my children but Nelly has made the transition easier by first introducing settling in days for my children which they both enjoyed. Throughout the day I would get pictures of my children and communicate what they are up to which put my mind at ease. Nelly has a diary of each child which you take home which shows you the develop your child is making. I would highly recommend her. Nelly is extremely flexible which fits in with my shift work pattern.
My son & daughter settled in from the start. My son has developed a lot since he has been with Nelly. I have notice a big development in his communication. Nelly educates the children while they are having fun learning. My children enjoy trips out with Nelly such as going to the park. My children are always clean and happy at the end of the day. Nelly's home is always clean and very welcoming.

Looking after them both gave me joy. We all had fun together too.
My daughter started with Amanda in 2022, we had been seeking childcare for some time due to moving to a new area! Amanda prides herself on keeping herself updated with training. Amanda adores the children who she cares for. She gives regularly feedback regarding development and meeting milestones. Amanda ensures that the children are learning in all enviorment. With lots of learning outside. The children have an excellent outdoor space where they are encouraged with gardening, playing and exploring the world around them. The children will attend different groups and activities in and outside
Amanda's home throught the week.
Amanda has a wonderful way with the children and is very calm and kind.
As a shift worker, I have found that childcare can be difficult to source due to the irregular hours but Amanda was more than helpful in ensuring this all was easily accommodated.
We would have no hesitation in recommending her as a childminder.
