About Me
We are a family of 3 - a doctor, a university lecturer and a wonderful little 3-year old boy. We are multi-lingual (English, Catalan and Spanish) and love music, reading and life in general. In these unusual times we're usually working from home and although we're generally very easy-going, we are are also extremely careful about our bubble. (I also need to take regular home COVID tests for work to keep everyone safe.)
My Requirements
At present our boy goes to nursery from Tuesday to Thursday and we're looking for someone to look after him in our home on Monday and Friday (approx 9-4 but some flexibility). We will be working from home in another part of the house but will meet up for lunches together. It's quite a big house with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to play. If the nursery shuts we'll certainly be interested in taking on extra days.
We are also part of a childcare bubble with another family (1yr and 3 yr, speaking English and Italian). Our previous nanny chose to work for both families either individually or with all the children together on some days and that worked really well so we'd be delighted to do that again.
We need someone who is responsible and in particular who will respect our concerns about Covid and try to be sensible. Ideally it should be someone who appreciates Montessori/ Forest school principles and knows how to engage and have fun with inquisitive children. If you can speak or sing in other languages then that is a great bonus!
