My Requirements

I am looking for a live-out nanny on a permanent basis, all year round.

The job is for alternate weekends 9am - 6pm although this is negotiable. In addition, there will be either 2 full weekdays or 4 part days once a fortnight on a rota basis which will be available 4-6weeks in advance.

A “full” weekday will be 8am - 6pm, or alternatively 8am - 9.30am and 3pm - 6pm term time and 9am - 6pm in school holidays and a part day will be 8am - 9.30am for an early or 3pm - 6pm for a late in term time and 9am to 3pm or 1pm to 6pm in the holidays.

Again, these hours are negotiable to a point.

For example a fortnight might look like:
Week 1: Sat & Sun 9am -6pm
Week 2: Mon 3pm - 6pm, Tues 8am - 6pm (or 2 broken shifts as described depending on your preference) and Thursday 3pm - 6pm.

The weekday shifts are to cover school runs from Crawley (Bewbush) to Cuckfield and sometimes also Colgate, and morning prep for school/start of day and/or evening meal.

Weekend care will consist of entertaining a 5 year old girl and providing simple meals for her and her 10 and 12 year old siblings (although they are quite self sufficient). Weekdays and holidays will be mostly focused on the 5 year old and sometimes her 9 year old brother as well, and school runs are for 3-4 children.
