Lydia has recently welcomed our daughter to her childminders - each time we drop her off she beams with excitement to see Lydia and when we pick her up she’s always giggling and happy. Lydia has been so reassuring and flexible and has made every effort to ensure that we feel happy leaving our baby with her. Couldn’t recommend her more highly!
I have had many babysitters over the years, however none of them has every been more amazing than Lydia.
A home to grow lives true to their name. We miss them so much!

Lydia and her team are incredibly welcoming and will make you feel at ease straight away. The children there are happy and playful and there is an atmosphere of safety and nurturing throughout the house. It can be hard to leave your child during the day but Lydia will update you with thwoe progress and put your mind at rest. They are in safe hands at A Home To Grow.
Lydia maintained a safe and stimulating environment.
We were given frequent and very detailed reports about the children activities and eating.
An incredible amount of creativity was put in the activities.
For example, she made a "movie award" video with the children being the nominees, and we still watch this video from time to time, years later.
Lydia has been babysitting and looking after my children for few years, she knows exactly what a parent would expect and deliver high standard of care and education. Lydia and her team at home to grow are warm and wonderful people who made my children happy and always enjoyed being there. It's a very child friendly and fun environment and I highly recommend Lydia and home to grow as a babysitter and childminder.
My baby started with Lydia and her team when she was five months old. My daughter is now nearly 1 and if it wasn’t for the fact we are moving away from the area, I’d have been happy for her to stay until school age. Lydia and all of the care workers have nurtured my baby and helped develop her skills. My baby has come on leaps and bounds, and that’s all down to the time they spend with her. Although my baby was the youngest of their charges, she was no less involved with the other children. I’m very very sad to be leaving and would recommend A Home To Grow to anyone.
Thank you so much for letting me visit at such short notice.
I was blown away by how lovely the decorations are and how welcome I was made to feel. My daughter was excited and ran straight in to play. We both felt so at home immediately. Lydia is really friendly and put me at ease with the overwhelming decision of childcare.
It all seems so professionally organised too, so many qaulifications and training. Overall, I was incredibly impressed.
My daughter has been going to A Home to Grow Childminders for nearly two years now and she absolutely loves it there. We couldn't be happier with the service Lydia and her team provide. The children have such fun there, and they learn so much, as well as getting outdoors every day. It's a really caring and happy environment. I'll be sending my son there too when he's big enough!
This was our first time looking for childcare and we wanted find a warm and caring family environment for our 7 month old son.
A Home to Grow was just that for 18 months, and our boy just flourished.
Not only did he hit all his milestones, he made friends and had fun, coming home full of songs and stories, often with a new painting or craft in hand.
Lydia and her team are fabulous.
After visiting a few well chosen childminders and nurseries I realised that many are nice but there is an instinctive reaction when you know you have find the best one. These childminders have the special extra!
As soon as I walked in it felt warm and cosy and I could here nothing but gentle giggling. The children were all seated around the kitchen table painting and they were making a lot of mess but it was so calm and the children were so visibly happy and content that I felt an inner peace. I knew I wanted my precious baby to join them.
As I was chatting with the main childminder (who was so lovely she really made me feel better about going back to work), another child was dropped off and after saying goodbye to her mum, she ran in all excitedly. She was so happy to play with her friends and went running straight up to everyone shouting good morning at them, skipping and jumping happily.
If I was a child, I would want to go here! I am hoping my baby can start as soon as I arrange my reintegration back to work.
