My Experience

I have worked in childcare since 2013, I started my journey at inglewood day care nursery. Here I trained and qualified with a level 3 diploma EYE.
Whilst working there I held a good place in the team.

My next role I worked as a sole charge full time nanny, for one family.
My role included..
looking after two children ages 1 and 3 to 4 and 7. I undertook a lot of roles within this position ranging from..
planning our day to day activities. Meeting up with other nanny's and being very social.
Joining new groups and clubs with the youngest.
Arranging the eldest school calendar, getting uniforms and kits ready.
Helping with homework.
Ensuring she has the right belongings on the correct days. Arranging school play dates.
To doing the children's food shopping planning children’s meals, keeping on top of washing which is the children's clothes and bedding.
Making sure the play room and bedrooms are tidy and all toys are clean and age appropriate.
Making Appotiment’s with the doctors (when needed) hairdressers and dentist.
School and nursery drop of and pick ups
Potty training.

My previous role has been working in a preschool - here I have cared for children ages 2 till they leave for school. Overseeing the smooth running and high quality practice within the room.
Motivating children to stimulate their learning and development.
Communicating and planning daily activities making them enjoyable and following the guidelines of the EYFS.
Responsibility to ensure the children's needs and welfare are being met at all times.
Creating positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues.
Strong time management skills.

My latest role is leading a team in the baby room 3months until around 16months.
