Hi there, I am an outgoing, fun and friendly 26 year old, currently studying for a Film Studies degree at UWE. I have over 6 years experience of Nannying for children aged 4-16. I am available to offer a few hours a week for some part time nanny/babysitting services (to fit around my studies). Happy to do early morning school runs any weekday and afternoon/evening hours on Mondays or Wednesdays. Please bear in mind that I have ME so while I am fairly flexible, I do need to limit the amount of hours I can offer (possibility to increase in school holidays) so as not to over exhaust myself.
I am also more than happy to offer ad hoc babysitting on evenings and weekends.
I have my own car with full, clean driving license and 9 years without accident. I would ask for 45p per mile driven for childcare duties (plus any applicable clean air zone/toll/parking charges - I have a diesel car and live outside the clean air zone, so usually try to avoid it!)
I am happy doing most duties: school runs, preparing light meals/snacks, help with homework, supervising play/activities, music and spelling practise, driving/walking to and from clubs, light housework (I am not a cleaner, but happy to do the odd bit of laundry/washing up).
My hobbies outside of university include horse riding, walking, yoga, watching films, baking, playing music/singing and anything outdoorsy. I also adore animals so anyone with pets would be a massive bonus!

My Experience
I have been a Nanny for two different families for the last two years in Hampshire, but moved to Bristol September 2022 to begin my undergraduate studies. Before this, I worked as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to two lovely (but extremely challenging) Year 6 children. Along side my TA position I was also a nanny to three lovely children (ages 16, 14 and 11 when I left) for nearly five years. I also have had various administrative jobs at University of Bristol, University of Southampton and Winchester School of Art.
I was DBS checked at the beginning of Feb 2019 and would be happy to share the documents on request. I am also more than happy to provide references.
I understand that no two days are the same when it comes to children and you have to be ready for anything! I also have over 11 years experience babysitting for families in my village, I was entrusted from an early age of 13 to look after children. I am more than comfortable preparing and cooking meals, tidying and other light household chores, dog walking (I am used to walking 4 large dogs at a time, including three bonkers Airedales!), horse-riding (I have been riding since 3 years old, and have had my own ponies/horses since 8 years old). I am also very confident at helping with homework, projects, music practice, spellings and reading as I am patient, encouraging and understanding.
I have a driving license and have been driving for 9 years and have lots of experience driving children, so I understand how loud and distracting they can be in the car, but have never let it affect my safe driving. I have full access to my own car with 5 seats (incl. driver) and large boot, so plenty of room for pets. I also have lots of experience looking after pets, so would be more than happy to have that as part of my daily duties.
My Qualifications
I have A levels in Psychology, Film Studies and Photography and GCSEs in Maths, English Language, English Literature, Science, Additional Science, French, Geography, IT and Music. I have over 6 years Nanny experience, a years 1:1 TA experience in a Primary School, over 11 years babysitting experience and 4 years administrative assistant/customer service experience in universities. I am more than happy to provide references if required. My Availability
I am able to offer a maximum of around 10 hours per week spread over a maximum of three days. I have ME, so unfortunately I am not able to work full time or every day as I have a strict routine where I need to incorporate dedicated rest time. Ideally I would prefer to offer morning hours, but potentially happy to work Monday and/or Wednesday afternoons for the right family. I would also potentially be happy to offer more hours during school holidays (especially the summer) depending on my uni workload.
