About Me
I am married with two grown up daughters aged 22 and 24. I have lived in the same area for 26 years. I am currently not employed after leaving my nanny family of 4 years, as their youngest starts school in September. I decided to volunteer in my daughters’ preschool and school many years ago, which started my love of working with little people. I was always known as a mother figure by parents of the children I worked with.
My Experience
I have been working with children for 20 years in various roles. I have been a pre-school practitioner, deputy nursery supervisor, early years teacher, a teaching assistant in a Primary school and a live out nanny/Mothers help.
My Qualifications
I have a level three diploma in childcare and education, plus a first class BA Hons degree in Early Years Leadership and I hold Early Years Professional Status. I have an enhanced DBS check and have had paediatric first aid qualifications throughout my time working with children, however as I am currently not employed in a setting, the first aid has now lapsed.
My Availability
I am generally available most days except for Sundays.
