About Me
I am an enthusiastic teacher trainee currently studying at postgraduate level in PGCE primary education (specialising in mathematics). I have a wide range of experience in teaching - from year 1 to GCSE level. I am 24 years old, who is passionate in working with children, and I hope to promote learning as a fun and enjoyable experience for pupils. I believe in diversity and equality in education, therefore I aim to provide a positive and comfortable lesson for all; I also hope to improve pupils' self-esteem and confidence in learning, and to facilitate them where possible in education.
My Experience
Update: in 2021, i have obtained certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I have also recently completed Level 2 Safeguarding with Children, and fully trained in Dyslexia Awareness training. I currently run my own Tutoring, Tu:TutorU and work closely with National Tutoring Program for students, who are affected by the pandemic. I have 3+ years of tutoring/teaching.
I have previous experience in tutoring Maths and Science. One of the students that I have tutored has gained a grade C in maths at gcse, having scored F’s during mocks. I have also taught GCSE Maths at a local secondary school. As part of my postgraduate studies, I have taught year 2 and year 6.
