About Me
Hi,
I'm Vic, a friendly, motivated, patient and creative person who has established significant experience working with children. I currently work as a primary school teacher and have enjoyed many enjoyable years of supporting a variety of wonderful children in their learning and emotional well being. I am currently teaching a split class of year 1 and 2 children in a Manningtree based Primary School. I am available for tutoring or baby sitting.
I understand that choosing a tutor to support your child is a huge decision. I'd like to reassure you that I understand how important it is to make learning enjoyable for children rather than ever letting children feel pressured. I will always ensure that your child is happy and comfortable in their learning journey. I will design an effective learning sequence according to your child's needs to ensure understanding and progression. I pride myself on being approachable, I sense when I child hasn't understood something and will use many strategies to encourage them to understand what I am teaching.
KS1 children will take a number of tasks and tests while at school and their teacher will work out the level they are at in the following areas:
reading
writing
speaking and listening
maths
science
If you feel that your child would benefit from additional support in any of the above areas, I can help improve your child’s confidence and help them make great leaps in their understanding.
I am also available for babysitting.
