My Experience

With over 15 years experience working with children in a variety of settings, I have expansive knowledge and expertise in child development and childcare. Most recently I ran a unique childcare setting from my home in Torthorwald providing a child led approach inspired by my knowledge of Montessori pedagogy. I was graded 6 (outstanding) across all areas at my most recent inspection, a personal and professional achievement I am extremely proud of. I have also managed children’s homes working with children aged 10-19 with many complex needs and spent a number of years working in an Early Years Montessori setting in Yorkshire. I have also freelanced with families supporting them with childcare in their home and consulting on developing Montessori practices into their parenting and home life.

My Qualifications

Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy (Early Years).
Level four Health and Social Care (Children and Young People).
Paediatric first Aid
Child protection
Bsc Hons criminology and sociology.
