About Me
I am a mum to a 6-year-old boy with many years of childcare experience. I have worked in baby, toddler and preschool rooms, as well as supporting elderly individuals and people with learning disabilities. I am currently employed as a Family Support Worker in Taunton but unfortuantly will have to leave this job due to it being night shifts and not able to fit around my son.
At the moment I live in Tiverton and spend weekends in Ilchester, but I will be moving to Ilchester full-time by the Easter holidays.

My Experience
I am a fully qualified Level 3 Childcare Practitioner with extensive experience across a wide range of care settings, including residential support, learning disabilities, elderly care, nursery environments and school-age children. I have worked as a Baby Room Lead, Preschool Practitioner, Deputy Nursery Manager and Room Lead for children aged 16–26 months and 26 months–3 years, a position I have held since January 2018.
I have also had the wonderful opportunity to work as an Au Pair in Spain, which was an amazing and eye-opening experience that broadened my cultural understanding and childcare skills.
I have been working in childcare for around 10 years, having completed both my Level 2 and Level 3 NVQ and Diploma in Childcare. Throughout my career I have gained experience with a variety of age groups, from nursery to primary school children (Reception through to Year 4), and have worked in multiple nursery settings and schools.
I strongly believe that children learn best through real-life experiences and exploration. I am passionate about getting children out and about, whether that’s using public transport, visiting the beach, walking to farms, exploring railway paths, canal walks, or other enriching and educational environments that support learning through play and discovery.

Core availability: Monday–Friday, 9:00am to 3:30pm. Additional hours may be arranged in advance. Services available across Ilchester, Somerton, Yeovil, Castle Cary, Martock and Queen Camel, with nearby areas considered.

- Nannying from £16.50 per hour (gross)
