My Experience
I’ve been fortunate to build a career combining nursing, childcare, and child development, giving me a calm, nurturing, and holistic approach to caring for children.
My experience includes working as a nanny for children of all ages, including those with additional needs and complex medical conditions. I’ve cared for siblings with physical and learning disabilities, supported a family while their mum recovered from a head injury, and provided loving, consistent care for babies, young children, and teenagers.
I have also worked as a Montessori nursery nurse, supporting children’s learning through play and exploration. I currently work part-time as a nanny for a 7-month-old baby and also support a 16-year-old with cerebral palsy.
I’m passionate about creating a safe, happy, and stimulating environment where children can flourish. I pride myself on building strong relationships with families and providing reliable, professional care with plenty of warmth, kindness and fun.

I was struggling to find childcare near me for my two boys for the weekend when I was attending an event in Glastonbury so decided to look for someone to watch the boys at the hotel. Emma really stepped up to help make the weekend doable for me and enjoyable for the boys. Due to having Aspergers and high anxiety it’s not easy to find the right person to look after them but Emma was a perfect fit. The boys loved her. Rather than just staying inside the whole time, Emma took the boys to a nearby park which was a successful outing. Because of their difficulties I don’t find it easy to relax with other people looking after the boys, but I felt very comfortable with them being in Emma’s care and was able to relax, and enjoy a long over due night out. I highly recommend Emma and will certainly use her again in the future.
