About Me
I am a 47year old mother to two, now adults, whom I miss dearly as they are now independent individuals that no longer need my everyday care although still play a massive part in my life. I’ve recently ended my work, for over 4 and a half years, as a live-in nanny for an amazing family with 2 boys, now ages 11 & 13 years old.
The families situation changing so with great sadness, I started planning a different future work wise.
I have 3 beautiful godchildren who I enjoy reading, cooking and visiting places with.
I love music, cooking and family is very important to me.
I am reliable, friendly and smiling (being happy) is important to me.
I am firm but fair and fun.
I think children should sing, dance, read, run around outdoors and be happy.
My Experience
Ive work as a live-in nanny.
Prior to this, I’ve worked in a number of school with young people who have individual charectorisics ranging from behavioural issues, special needs, learning difficulties, physical disabilities and education needs. I have mentoring experience, completed a youth worker course and also attended a award 1 in counselling.
Being a parent to two girls, a mother figure to two boys and having 3 godchildren is the best experience for looking after someone else’s child.
