About Me
Hello! My name is Lotti and I am a qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator (qualified to teach and provide qualified care for children aged 0-7), studying in my second year of a BA (Hons) in Childhood and Youth Studies. I have worked with children for 6 years, all of my adult working life, and am passionate about providing high quality care.
I am experienced working with bilingual/English as Second Language children, and children with special educational needs. I am available for families who need extra help, maybe on an ad hoc basis or on a regular schedule, with their childcare and babysitting.
My special skills:
-Skills in cooking for fun, knowledge of various recipes to cook for children at dinner. Leave the cooking to us for an evening, just bring in ingredients!
-Will bring activities for day/early evening sits
-Love bringing my years of arts and crafts experience to the table as activities for evening babysitting. I love being able to show you what we’ve been up to!
-Love adventures: my favourite ideas for babysitting in the day time involve days out and park visits! Please let me know if this is something you’d be happy for us to do, I think the outside world has the most to offer, especially in the lovely place we live.
My rate reflects the fact that I am Level 4/foundation degree educated in childcare with over 50 successful sits.
My Experience
-Previously a play worker in a breakfast and after school club for 6-11 year olds in a local Poole middle school
-I worked in a nursery in Parkstone as a deputy manager for just under 3 years
-Most recently worked in Childrens centres and schools delivering groups/programmes to families that require specialist intervention, meaning I have experience working with and caring for all ages. Delivered parenting, communication courses and therapeutic approaches
-Currently a speech and language assistant in the Kinson area for the NHS specialising in under 11s ??

My Availability
Available 5.30pm onwards Monday to Friday as I work full time for the NHS, and weekends fully with sufficient notice.
