Hello, my name is Maya. I'm a patient, active and fun Nanny, with ample childcare experience. Having recently graduated from King's College London, I am taking a few years out, before starting my doctorate in clinical neuropsychology. I am available throughout the week, as well as the odd weekend. I have experience looking after children of all ages, but my favourite age group is newborns and toddlers!
I am very flexible in my approach to childcare and always adapt my schedule to suit the needs and beliefs of each family. I love thinking of inventive activities to keep kids entertained, spending time outdoors and taking part in creative play! I am happy to do light housework too and love cooking!
My Experience
2015-2018 - I babysat for a local family of 4, including school pick-up/drop-off and after school activities.
2018 - Camp leader at a local holiday camp (Barracuda's), where I took care of 30 children (ages 4-14yrs), alongside two camp assistants.
2019 - I was a full time nanny to three girls (ages 2-10).
In addition I have work experience in a primary school where I have assisted class teachers with one-to-one teaching and planning activities.
I also have experience taking care of newborns, including babysitting and overnight care.
Finally I have taken on many leadership roles including a gymnastics coach and girl guides young leader.
My Qualifications
11 GCSEs all at A/A* level
A-levels: Biology, psychology, art and an EPQ in neuroscience
First class honours - clinical neuroscience (Kings College London)
