About Me
I am a 35 year old mother of two girls. I work as a doctor and my husband is an engineer who will be doing a mixture of WFH and commuting to Glasgow.
We will be moving to Edinburgh (Fairmilehead area) in August 2021. Both girls will go to pentland nursery and primary school. We are looking for a nanny who will do school/nursery drop offs and pick ups. Hours would approximately be 8am-930am mon-fri, 3-6pm Mon-Thurs and 12-6pm friday.
We are looking for someone enthusiastic and energetic who in addition to school runs will be happy to facilitate playdates/after school activities/homework and dinner time.
Possibility to extend morning hours until 11am if you would be happy doing some light "mother's help" work such as sticking a wash in or changing the kids beds etc
We are fairly laid back employers and our main criteria is that you care for the girls as much as we do :)! We can provide references as have had a nanny for the past 2 years.
My Requirements
Preferable requirements are as follows but very open minded!
Someone friendly and kind, who cares about children and stimulating their learning and development. Non smoker please. Fluent in English.
In addition to childcare, we would be very grateful if the nanny/au pair was happy to do some “mother’s help” activities such as light cleaning/helping with the never ending mountain of washing that comes with having Wee ones!
