About Me

I am 28 years old working full time with the alternating Monday off. My partner will be studying nursing in university from 24th September however she does not get her rota until then. We are looking for a nanny/child minder for approximately 45 weeks of the year for the next 3 years for definelty 2 days or 3 days depending on the price and affordability for us

My Requirements

Registered Childminder
Part Time Nanny

We have already registered our 9 month old son with a childcare unit however we have to sign up to a 50 week contract we do not need childcare for 50 weeks of the year as my partner will have holiday terms in university where we will not require childcare during these times. Our current childcare providers contract sates we have to pay full time even if our son does not attend. It is a shame that a lot of the childcare companies do this especially for students who are in need of the extra cash. We cannot get any help from the government or university for childcare hence why we had to put him to only 2 days a week at childcare which start in September.

We are looking for other options currently to see if it works out cheaper for a nanny or child minder who is fully qualified, reliable, fun, caring and has a up to date dbs and to preferably be a registered childminder/nanny.

We want our son to learn and meet other children to enable his confidence building.

We have a very active 9 month old son, who loves to explore and be outside when he can. he is crawling and climbing and on the verge of walking. His routine has been a little shot recently which has made some days quite challenging for us as new parents. His eating has not been great due to teething and a recent cough and cold he had, but he will take his milk. He is temperamental about being fed from a spoon, sometimes he will take it but sometimes he will refuse. He likes a nap in the morning usually around 10am +/- 1 hour. and then again in the afternoon around 2pm +/- 1 hour.

We currently do not know what my partners hours will be like at university because she has not had her rota yet, she has been told her rota will be given for the 3 years to include her placement dates but again she is uncertain whether this is true or not. Someone who is flexible would be very ideal for us especially as when my partner is in placement the dates are likely to be more relatable to shift work patterns rather than Monday to Friday. We are currently looking for 2-3 days a week and to continue for at least 36 weeks of the year each year.

Hours of care at the moment would be 8am - 3:30/4pm but until my partner gets her rota this is just an estimate.

Please if you think you fit the description then please contact us.
we are not interested in childcare that will require us to pay for the half terms holidays as explained above we are already in that type of contract and it would be no point in changing childcare to go into the same type of contract.
