Dear all, my name is Somaya and I love working with children and always have.
I believe in not only caring for the child but supporting their learning while in my care.
I am a respectful, cheerful, educated and patient young girl of 28 years old. I like many children, and I have years of experience in the care of my own nephews, cousins in London and the children of my neighbors back in Spain. Responsible nanny with experience and interest in children and their development. Ability to develop close relationships with both children and families. Able to relate well with people at all levels and converse in a polite and courteous manner. Keen to find a position within a responsible employer where I will be able to continue to increase my work experience & develop my abilities.
My experience :
I have worked for many families sporadically since 2012 in my free time and vacations. Responsible of children between 0-18 years old;
Either with babies and young children. Also, I have first aid and care about children course.
-Responsible for the safety, well being, care and development of children.
-Getting children ready in the morning and then taking them to school.
-Reading to and with the children.
-Attending any medical appointments or social events with the children.
-Helping children with after-school activities. Washing and bathing children as well as changing nappies.
-Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
-Providing supervision and constant care to children.
-Stimulating children to read and be active.
-Playing with the children and taking them shopping & to the park.
-Tidying up children's bedrooms and play areas.
-Light cleaning duties
-Planning and organizing age related activities.
I can give Spanish lessons for free.
My availability will be Monday to Friday : morning, afternoon and evening.
