My Summary

My Experience

I currently work for about five or six families - some have new babies, some have children between the ages of three and ten years, and two of my families have children with high needs autism. I will happily work for a couple of hours or late into the night and I don’t mind what time you plan to return home. I often start work in the late afternoon so parents can get ready for their night out without interruption. As mentioned above I often prepare meals, make babies bottles, bath children and get them ready for bed, read stories, play games, and will often bake cookies with the children I work with as it is an activity they all enjoy.

When the children are in bed and asleep I like to do ‘jobs’ until parents come home so often do laundry, ironing, make packed lunches for the next day etc.

As I worked as a teacher for more than twenty five years I often give advice in relation to the Early Years Curriculum or Educational Health and Care Plans as I know what a worry these can be for parents.

My Qualifications

I am a fully qualified teacher and have an Early Years DipHe from Manchester Metropolitan University and a First Class with Honours Degree in Special Needs Education. I am registered with the DBS update service and have taught First Aid

My Availability

I am on the DBS update service so am available for emergency cover, short term appointments, afternoons, evenings, weekends and overnight if required. If you would like to know more about me please get in touch and I will send you my employment documentation; qualifications, DBS certificate etc.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

I charge per family and not per child and am happy to care for children from multiple homes in one setting. I charge £12 per hour for evening babysitting and £14 per hour for afternoon and early evening care.
