My Experience

I have worked in nursery settings from the age of 17 until 2022 when I became a nanny. Within the 13 years working in nursery’s I progressed from a nursery assistant to a room leader to the nursery deputy manager and have had experience working with ages birth - teens.

For the past 3 years I have been a full time nanny and absolute love it. I currently have sole care a 2.5 year old. My role involves doing nursery drop off and pick up, taking them to any after activities, preparing fresh meals for the family, children’s laundry and some light housework whilst children are at school/nursery. Previous to this I have nannied for 2 families with twins, toddlers and school age children.

I like to ensure that the children in my care are kept stimulated and have plenty of learning and fun opportunities throughout the week taking them to local playgroups, soft plays, parks and libraries. As well as home based activities such as arts and crafts and baking.

My Qualifications

- NVQ level 2 in childcare
- Level 3 diploma for the children and young people’s workforce
- Dbs certificate
- Food hygiene
- First aid

My Availability

I am looking for a full time position but can be flexible with a part time position if the right family comes along. Unfortunately my role will be coming to an end beginning of September but happy to start earlier for the right family, I have one months notice to be given.

My Fees

• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
