About Me
I'm 27, British, creative and extremely active! My current, most common sports are CrossFit, Sailing and Kitesurfing.
I was raised in the Military, so we moved around the UK often, but my family are settled in Salcombe now. I have recently fallen in Love with Plymouth and find myself spending a lot of time there, but would be very happy to relocate for the right family.
I've lived outside of home for almost seven years now, living and worked abroad for most of that time doing various things, from running ski chalets to teaching scout groups and school groups to climb and mountaineer in the Italian Alps. I’ve had nanny / mothers help & babysitting jobs since I was 11 years old!
It goes without saying that I'm very independent!
My Experience
I have four younger half siblings. The eldest has just turned 17!
I helped raise them all.
My step mother was a Nanny from home, so we regularly have children over and I am very much involved with helping her.
I also spent a year as a mothers helping the UK, and spent two years nannying in New Zealand.
I have recently helped a family out who live on a sailing boat with their 2 and 4 year old sons. Entertaining those ages can be challenging enough, even more so when confined to a sailing boat!
Currently, I work in primary schools, promoting active travel (teaching young people to ride, fix and maintain bikes mostly).
My Qualifications
Childcare wise, I don't have any official qualifications, however I have instructor awards in various sports where I lead children. I'm also DBS checked and have a first aid for infants & young children certificate.
I have ample references and loads of experience.
My Availability
Available immediately to an extent, but will need to give my current workplace 1 months notice before I can do anything full time.
Ideally not for weekends or late evenings, but happy to do the od occasion.
