My Experience

I am an experienced ABA Tutor, Carer, SEN teaching assistant, qualified Art Therapist.... I have a degree and a masters in creative expressive therapies and art therapy.

My experience includes working for many years with individuals who require additional support, befriending and help accessing their interests and the community. I have worked with individuals who have Autisim and other special educational needs, of varying ages in a variety of contexts, within a timeframe spanning over 15 years.
I am motivated, patient, enthusiastic; adopting a mindful, informed and considerate approach, with a friendly and happy disposition.
My hobbies include walking and being outside, going to the cinema, climbing, the arts, and generally being active and social.

I have an enhanced DBS and am currently looking for some extra part time work to run alongside my existing professional commitments.

If you have any questions regarding my experience or approach please do not hesitate to ask. In regards to ABA therapy, for example, I only engage in this method under the guidance of a trained consultant, and am very mindful about the work I take on in this area. I am more focused these days on roles such as befriending and other creative engagements within the community.

I have a driving licence and my own transportation.
