About Me
Hello, my Name Isla Robertson and I’m twenty four. I live on a working Farm near gatelawbridge with my boyfriend and 4 month old puppy, Eadie. I currently work full time for a family in Thornhill looking after two children aged two and six. I absolutely love my job, however the youngest is going to nursery after the summer (August 2019) and I am just putting the feelers out to see if anyone would be looking for childcare in the mornings Monday- Friday until around 11.30am. Start time would be more negotiable. I am also available for baby sitting in the evenings and weekend and also all school holidays.
My Experience
I started my childcare career when I began volunteering at Thornhill playgroup at the age of 16 through a scheme at school I made my way up the ladder and began my paid Job at playgroup at 17 and worked for a further six years until I left you take up my full time Job as a nanny I am currently in. I volunteered the girl guiding UK and took over as unit leader when I was 17 and ran busy group of girls in Thornhill Community centre. I ran this group myself with parental support, I was the youngest guide leader to run a group in mid-nithsdale. While volunteering with girl guiding I was awarded my fiver year service badge and a Hazel award for outstanding leadership and dedication. Unfortunately I had to leave girl guiding when I took up my current job as I no longer had the time. I have completed my Intermediate two and NC childcare while attending Dumfries and Galloway College and completed my HNC in childcare while working at playgroup through Minerva training. I am quite well known within Thornhill and surrounding area for babysitting and had served quite a few families throught the years, I am more than happy to provide references for this.

I am available from early morning until 11.30am from August 2018.
I am available weekends and evenings as and when I am required.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £6.00 per hour
- Nannying from £8.21 per hour (gross)
I am very open to negotiation as I completely understand childcare can be very expensive and I am absolutely open to discussion about a rate of pay. I have put my nanny rate as the minimum wage for 2019-2020.
