Nanny in City Of Westminster (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
I love being a nanny, I think it’s my true calling in life.
Being a nanny is so much more than a job for me, I feel so privileged to be a part of the lives of all the children in my care. Every child holds such a special place in my heart and brings me immense joy to see them grow and become the little people that they are.
I adjust well to the needs of my families,
I bring warmth, patience, and attention to my work, cultivating an environment where children feel loved, supported, and nurtured to grow into themselves, where they confidently express their bright personalities and embrace their unique strengths and individuality.
My goals are to instil good manners, good values into all the children I care for.
I encourage children to make their own choices regarding play, which leads to enhanced confidence, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
I feel it is important for children to spend time exploring the great outdoors, this is not only good for their mental and physical well-being but provides them with new opportunities that an indoor childcare setting can’t fulfil.
Happy to travel with families, night nanny and to proxy parent. I love animals of all shapes and sizes.
I am fluent in English, Farsi and Urdu.
I live in central London and I can drive.
I can cook light meals and do housework while supervising the children.
Thank you
Layla
My Experience
I have been a helping hand for 16 years. I believe I have accumulated a multitude of experience as a nanny. I have done a range of roles from full time, part time, maternity nanny and babysitting.
I started working as an childminder and from there many positions have come through word of mouth. I have experience of children from birth to 16 years old, as well as having 2 children of my own. My roles were different within each family and I have learnt a lot from each and every child.
My approach adapts to each developmental stage—encouraging independence in younger children, supporting learning in school-aged children, and providing calm, consistent guidance for preteens. I design meaningful, age-appropriate activities that bring learning to life—whether through imaginative play, arts and crafts, sensory exploration, or interactive games that foster curiosity, teamwork, and self-expression. I also attend to daily routines with care and attentiveness, including dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene, as well as preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks, encouraging self-feeding and cultivating healthy habits.
I would love to discuss my experience, so please ask if you're interested.
