My name is Georgina, I am 27 years old with a six year old son. I am outgoing, friendly and caring. I currently have my Level 3 Cache Dipolma and a degree in Early Years which has given me my Level 6 in Chidlcare.
I have worked in numerous childcare settings working and caring for newborns upto primary age. I have in-depth knowledge on the important of high quality early years provision.
I hold a current enhaced DBS check. During my time at University I studied a core module of Safeguarding Children and Young People which helped me raise my awareness of current legislation, policies and procedures which exist to promote children and young people’s rights and to keep them safe from harm.
My Experience
I have over 10 years of childcare experience where I have carried out placements in various settings. I have also had two jobs in two different childcare settings. I have also spent two years supply teaching in Kirklees and Calderdale
I hold my Level 3 Cache Diploma in Children and I have an Early Years Degree which has given my a Level 6 in Childcare. I chose to study Leadership and Management in Professional Contexts in my final year which helped me develop my understanding of theories of leadership, management and the organisation of professional practice. I also chose to focus my dissertation on 'In the moment planning' so I also have a good understanding of child-led play.
