About Me
I live on the outskirts of Peterculter with my husband and 2 children, Kasey age 4 and Ryan age 6. We have a spacious garden and open plan living area where children will be cared for.
I am able to look after school age children attending Culter Primary School both before and after school. I will be able to offer some flexibility around hours and school holiday cover. Meal and snack arrangements negotiable.
I can offer a wide range of educational and fun activities together with the typical home life activities, provide choices and promote independence. I encourage outdoor play and sports to help children be physically healthy as well as encouraging communication to support mentally and emotionally. I strongly support good hygiene and cleanliness and I promote equal opportunities and cater for individual needs.
My Experience
As a mum of 2, I have first hand experience with children. I'm involved with my son's football team and my husband is a fully qualified coach. I have first aid experience and I am familiar with GIRFEC and child development.
My Qualifications
Newly registered childminder. Completed Induction to Childminding Level 2 with SCMA.
I intend to complete Children's First Aid Course and Child Protection Course.
Various legal and other qualifications relevant to my 17 years in the legal industry and oil & gas.
My Availability
I will be available for both before and after school care, 5 days per week and some school holidays depending on parent’s requirements. The hours of operation will include but are not limited to, 8:00 till 9:00 before school and 15:15 till 18:15 after school. I aim to be as flexible as possible, as an ex employee of the oil & gas industry I fully appreciate industry demands.
