My Summary

My Experience

I've had quite a lot of experience with children over the years, starting with a 2-week work experience placement at a nursery in France while I was completing my A-levels.

After that, I started doing some ad-hoc babysitting while doing my first undergraduate degree in Leeds. I looked after a 9-month old (until he turned 2) on some days, and a 4 year old pre-schooler on other days.

More recently, I worked full time in a local nursery from October 2022-October 2023 where I worked across all rooms, ranging from babies all the way through to pre-school age, but my "key children" were all between 2-3 years.

I left the nursery in October to focus on my degree, but I have since started looking after a 3-week old baby & 18 month old in an ad-hoc capacity.

As part of my degree, I have been spending 2 days a week in a Reception class at a local primary school.

My Qualifications

No formal childcare qualifications.
Academic qualifications: 10 GCSEs: 7 As & 3 A*s. 3 A-Levels (Biology, French, Geography): A*AB respectively.
BA French & Middle Eastern Studies Student from University of Leeds
Currently studying BA Primary Teaching Studies at the University of Hull

Available in an ad-hoc capacity, but also available most evenings and weekends too.
