About Me
My name is Lucy Bingham and I live in Canton with my husband, our two children and our friendly cat Tardis.
I am a member of PACEY and I am regulated by CIW. I have full public liability insurance, paediatric first aid training, a full clean driving licence and myself and my husband are both DBS checked.
We live close to Sanatorium Park which is great for walks and to use the playground but we also have a large garden with lots of toys and equipment. We are also within walking distance of soft play and libraries that we use as often as possible.
My Experience
I have over 10 years experience of working with children and young people in a professional setting. Until that time, I had been a very busy babysitter for friends and family as well as being a live in Nanny for my cousin and her 4 children.
When my husband had his first job as a Translator, we moved to Northumberland where I discovered a passion for working with children with additional learning needs. After working for a supply agency, I worked at a school in Jarrow for a year. While there I was able to work with a variety of ages and needs including ASD, ADHD, SLC and developmental delays.
After moving back to Cardiff, I joined a SEN supply agency and worked at an ASD school in Penarth which then joined with two other schools to become a ‘super’ school. It was an amazing year and I really enjoyed my time there. Because of my experience at this school, I secured a permanent position at an ASD unit in Llandaff. I have been working there up until recently. I now have two small children of my own who are 2 and 1 so I have plenty of experience with babies, toddlers and children.

My Availability
I am available Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 5:30pm and I can be flexible to suit your needs.
