About Me

We are a two Mum family, looking for childcare for our little boy - starting October 2020 when he will be 20 months old. Ideally we would like to start building a relationship with a new nanny before that date though so there is a seamless transition.

I'm self-employed and work flexibly from home. Times can therefore vary from week to week. I generally only need 2-6 hours of childcare per week, but this may change. Ideally, initial meetings would take place in our home. But once my son is happy with you, trips to the park, library or playgroups will probably work better.

The general type of childcare that we would be looking for would be child-led with a lot of outdoor play. We are mostly gentle and attachment parents and also very interested in Montessori philosophy.

We have one cat and one dog (a very lively Springer spaniel) so the perfect person would also need to be confident around animals.

I have CFS and can sometimes struggle with household tasks so a willingness to help with tasks such as putting toys and clothes away or filling the dishwasher would be appreciated (especially if you can involve the little one in the process too!)

Having your own car would also be advantageous as I am likely to appreciate at least occasional help with transport once my son starts nursery. But this is not essential.
