About Me
Hi, I’m currently a qualified English teacher in a secondary school. Shortly, I’ll be leaving the profession to work in a children’s home. I am energetic, reliable and responsible.
I have 9 years of experience working in education, 4 of those English English teacher. I specialise in teaching students with Special Educational Needs and, as such, can provide personalised teaching as per your child’s needs.
I will ask your child to complete a diagnostic test to ascertain their levels, discuss with yourself their targets and provide a plan to help them achieve.
My Experience
I’ve looked after my siblings from a very young age, looked after cousins and younger family members.
I’ve also looked after a couple of friends children, during the day and sometimes overnight.
I’m comfortable with looking after small groups of children; cooking, cleaning and helping with homework. (I also offer tutoring for English for children Key Stage 1-3)
My experience teaching within an alternative provision school allows me to work closely with children of different levels of special educational needs- (including, but not limited to, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, social anxiety, dyslexia and dyspraxia etc). Some of the children I teach are also potentially vulnerable, which requires me to be patient and accommodating of their needs and/or emotions. Each child is different and I would consider myself to be a responsible, fair and flexible person, as a result of my job.

£9 per hour for one child. £13 for two and £15 for three.
