I am a fun, energetic teacher and home schooling specialist as well as a mummy to three wonderful children. I have a fun approach to learning which is always delivered through rich play opportunities and interactive experiences. I thrive to provide an enjoyable, engaging, interactive way to learn which provides a real love for learning for all of my lovely children.
I have been a primary school teacher (both state and private) for thirteen years now and have had experience working with children for over 19 years. I am trained in SEN and children’s mental health and I still have just as much passion in teaching as the day I started!
All sessions here take place in my lovely purpose built classroom area in my home in Headley, Boredon. All sessions are always fun and engaging and provide a real love for learning. Group sessions are put together by age/ability and session plans are made to meet individual needs of the children in each group. 1:1 sessions are tailored to meet specific needs of individual children. I use top of the range teaching tools, accessories and websites (all used and loved in schools) to help children progress in their learning.
I really do have an enthusiastic approach to learning and make all of my lessons enjoyable, interesting and interactive which makes children love coming here to learn. I also provide a refreshments and after each session, my lovely parents also get a very detailed report which helps them to see what their little one has done and gives them an idea for next steps in their learning.
Over the last few years I have helped children to pass entrance exams, fill in gaps in their learning, but most importantly, gain confidence and learn to love learning.

My Experience
Having graduated from university with a first class degree in 2013, I am now an experienced primary school teacher and I have taught in many year groups as well as leading years in both state and private schools.
I have been a private tutor for thirteen years now teaching children aged 3-11 and now run my own home tuition business in my new home in Hampshire having moved from Epsom, Surrey.
I have helped many children gain entrance into top private schools and exceed in 11+ exams too.

My Availability
I am available for 1:1 and small group sessions after school and evenings and homeschooling during the school day. Sessions take place in my lovely purpose built classroom area in Headley.
Easter/Summer school run during the Easter and Summer holidays.
My Fees
- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
£25 for small group hour sessions, £30 for 1:1 booster half hour session or £50 1:1 hour session. All sessions include; fully qualified and experienced teacher, individual lesson plans, weekly reports, workbooks and top of the range resources and unlimited refreshments.
£25 Group sessions (maximum 4 children)
£25 Summer School sessions (discount available)
£30 for half hour sessions (perfect for EYFS and SEN)

My son has been having sessions with Dayna 3-4 times a month for 3 month during our stay in the UK. His academic progress with her has been incredible, he has gone from having no interest in literacy to writing stories and now enjoys reading too. Dayna makes the lessons fun and interesting meaning he covers off all subjects and loves all of it- he asks every day (even on the weekends) if he will be going. I have been amazed by his progress along with the creativity in tasks that have helped to keep him engaged. He has learnt so much with her and beyond that he is now more confident in himself and has a passion to keep learning. I highly recommend Dayna- she is a brilliant teacher and we are so grateful for everything she has done for our son.

Dayna is by far the best. My daughter suffers with separation anxiety and was so far behind with her learning. Dayna quickly made Bonnie feel so comfortable and settled. Bonnie is like a new child she’s shining with confidence, excited for her next session with Dayna, in fact she counts down the day until she gets to see Dayna again. She also loves cuddles with the bunny Elsa. Bonnie has learnt so much since seeing Dayna and I cant recommend her enough. She’s outstanding. I would highly recommend 💫
