About Me

Jacqueline (Jacqui) Dolman, 52, mother and foster carer. I have been a foster carer for nearly 4 years now. I have an interest in walking my dogs, interior decorating, fashion and my children.
I live with my husband, Andrew (Andy) Dolman, 52, who is also a father and foster carer. Andy works a shift pattern in the middle of the North Sea building wind turbines, which at the moment is 2 weeks on shift 2 weeks at home. We both like live music, days out and holidays!
We live in Gosport, in a 4-bedroom house with Zeus and Hera, our loving and playful dogs, which are 7 and 6 respectively. We also have an African grey parrot called Iris, who is very talkative and likes to play!

An enthusiastic and dedicated care professional who enjoys being part of, as well as leading, a successful and productive team. Excellent in providing care and support to children in accordance with HCC and national guidelines, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained at all times. Experienced in handling complex cases and challenging children with the ability to remain calm and professional at all times. A confident and articulate communicator with a professional manner and the ability to encourage colleagues to achieve high-standards and self-development. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate concisely at all levels. A productive team player, self-motivated, organised and able to multi-task.
I feel I am a flexible, resourceful and approachable individual, with a thirst for knowledge. I believe my inquisitive mind and hard work ethic makes me a good carer. My aspirations are building a solid and rewarding career as a registered childminder.
