About Me
I am a 25 year old BSc Psychology graduate and current Educational Psychology Masters student. I have a lot of experience with children as I have three younger siblings with whom I spend a lot of time. I am aware of the challenges that come with a job connected with children as well as the advantages.
I did my GSCE's and A-levels at MSJ girls boarding school, thus I am aware of the educational program in the UK. Speaking three languages:English, Russian(my native language) and intermediate Spanish have greatly contributed to my development. My other passion is Art, which I studied during my A-levels. It inspired me to explore Art therapy (which includes art, music, performance, sand-play). Therefore, I believe I can share my passion for Art with children, as well as enhance child's overall well-being and try to help with stress, anxiety, challenging behaviour and any emotional concerns.
In addition, as a part of my university research I practice a development of cognitive skills in children, which include imagination and creativity training, development of logical thinking, memory, speech and attention. It is scientifically proven that regular training of cognitive skills improves your child's school performance, which is essential to fully realize a child potential.
My Experience
I gained work placements at MSJ Prep and Phileas Fox nursery in London, where I was responsible for children during their school day. I was working with several families in London for 5 years, where my duties were to engage children in developing activities, helping with homework, assessing their wellbeing, as well as traveling with family when needed.
