My Experience

I began my childcare career in 2012 and I have been In private nurseries for the past 7 years and counting, at the beginning I was an unqualified nursery assistant. In 2013 I gained my level three qualification in children and young people’s workforce and worked my way up to managing a preschool room of 34 children whilst being an acting deputy manager of a 72 place setting.

Whilst at the nursery I have taken part in several CPD courses and constantly look for ways to better myself and take on more responsibility.

I have worked with children from 3 months right up until school aged, from all sorts of backgrounds including multiple births, premature babies and special educational needs. I’ve worked with hundreds of families over the years and understand the importance of communication, routine and overall having a sense of fun.

Since becoming a nanny I’ve fully taken to the role and built a strong network of other nannies to help with socialising. I enjoy arranging fun activities both inside and outside of the home environment. And enjoy creating that special bond with the family.
