My Summary
About Me
Hello! My name is Liberty, I’m 25 years old, and I’m offering my services as a full-time nanny. I hold a First-Class Degree from the London College of Music and currently work full-time in a secondary school.
I’m a confident, enthusiastic, and caring individual with a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and wellbeing. With experience caring for children from newborns through to teenagers, I understand how to adapt my approach to suit each child’s stage, personality, and needs.
My childcare style balances firm, consistent boundaries—to build respect, security, and resilience—with a nurturing, creative energy that encourages children to explore their imagination and pursue their interests. I love to find ways to build on what children already enjoy, turning everyday activities into opportunities for learning and fun!
Growing up with both a 22-year-old and a 7-year-old brother has given me a natural ability to connect with children of all ages. Whether supporting an older child with homework, engaging younger ones in imaginative play, or ensuring your teen has a trusted presence at home, I bring warmth, reliability, and professionalism to every aspect of my care.
I know how important it is to trust someone with your child, and I take that responsibility very seriously. My goal is always to provide a safe, engaging, and happy environment where children feel valued and confident. Outside of work, I love reading, theatre, and travelling, and I bring that same curiosity and joy for discovery into my childcare.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you’d like to view my CV, DBS check, or Ofsted paperwork, or to discuss my availability and hourly rate. I’d be delighted to hear from you!
Warm Regards,
Liberty
My Experience
I have a wide range of experience within the childcare industry, having grown up in a family dedicated to caring for children. My mother has been a professional childminder for over ten years and has worked in childcare for more than thirty. Being immersed in that environment from a young age has given me a deep understanding of what high-quality childcare looks like - from safeguarding and health and safety, to nurturing each child’s individuality. I hold a DBS check that permits me to work as an Ofsted-registered assistant in my home, where I support my mother in providing a safe, engaging and loving environment for every child. I am also paediatric first aid trained (2025).
Nursery Experience (2022)
In 2022, I spent six months working at a local nursery, gaining experience across all age groups - from babies to toddlers and school-aged children during the summer club. Learning through play was central to everything we did, and I took great pride in researching and setting up creative indoor and outdoor play areas to inspire curiosity and engagement. I planned and led a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, painting, building, imaginative play and sensory exploration. We celebrated cultural and religious events throughout the year, ensuring every child felt included and valued. I also assisted in Forest School sessions, where we introduced children to essential outdoor skills such as collecting materials, lighting fires safely, and preparing simple food and drinks. We also explored nature through bug hunts, trails and listening walks - experiences that fostered a real love of the outdoors. This role taught me how powerful play, connection and curiosity are in helping children develop confidence and independence.
Primary School Experience (2022–2024)
I then worked at a local primary school for two years, beginning as a 1:1 teaching assistant. During this time, I supported four children with a range of needs including ADHD, Autism, PDA, Global Developmental Delay, PTSD and trauma, as well as children in care. Each child was completely unique, and I loved the challenge of adapting my approach to suit their individual personalities, needs and strengths. I worked closely with teachers and parents to set achievable goals that promoted progress while building resilience and self-esteem. Seeing a child flourish through patience, structure and encouragement has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my work. I later transitioned into a general teaching assistant role and led intervention groups in Maths, English and Writing for small groups of children needing additional support.
Newborn Experience
I have extensive hands-on experience caring for newborns, particularly through helping to raise my younger brother from birth. This involved preparing and feeding bottles, weaning, administering medication, nappy changing, bathing, settling and bedtime routines, and engaging in age-appropriate play.
Alongside this, I’ve cared for several babies and toddlers through private nanny work, gaining a strong understanding of the routines and gentle consistency that support healthy development in those early years.
Private Nanny Experience (Current)
For the past two years, I’ve been a part-time private nanny for two wonderful young boys. My role involves providing personalised, responsive care tailored to their individual needs and personalities. I plan creative, engaging activities that build on their natural interests and encourage learning through exploration and play. I design weekly itineraries for school holidays, combining educational outings, arts and crafts, imaginative play and outdoor adventures. I also handle school and nursery runs, provide emergency childcare, and act as a dependable presence the family can rely on at short notice. This position has deepened my understanding of what families need from a nanny - someone who is nurturing yet dependable, creative yet structured, and who truly becomes part of the family’s support system.

My Availability
After several rewarding years working in school settings, I’ve decided to take the next step and make my true passion - childcare - my full-time career. I’m now offering my services as a full-time nanny, bringing with me a wealth of experience, creativity, and care. I’m happy to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility for occasional weekend cover, evenings out, and overnight stays when needed. I’m open to discuss working hours and patterns further to suit everyone involved.
