My name is Shabana, Ana for short. I live with my husband and my three daughters; 8 and 5 and a baby.
I have worked with children and families for over 10 years now.
I became a childminder to allow myself to care for my daughter and offer a service to others who would like their children to be cared for in a safe and homely environment.
I use the downstairs area of my home which has patio doors leading to an enclosed back garden. I have a designated playroom with a toliet for my childminding business, also I have converted our conservatory into a second playroom. Creating a home from home environment for children of all ages ranging from new born onwards. I pride myself on having a safe, clean, smoke free, pet-free and alcohol-free home.
Having come from a nursery early years and teaching background I have extensive understanding and knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage. This is hugely important for childminders and I feel confident to teach and help your child to develop and grow into happy, healthy and confident young people.
In my setting each child is treated as an individual and I offer stimulating and constructive play and activities to develop creativity and imagination. I have a wide range of indoor and outdoor toys.
I offer a safe and homely environment for children by conducting thorough risk assessments of my property both indoors and outdoors. Also by ensuring all the equipment and toys are safe, clean and age appropriate.
I have completed all the mandatory training required by Ofsted as well as, a level 2 Food Safety in Early Years course.
I hold an up to date Paediatric First Aid certificate and I have a First Aid Box which is regularly checked.
My Experience
I have worked with children and families for over 10 years, before in a primary school a Learning Mentor, and now as a Childminder.

I am available for childminding Monday - Thursday 8am-4:30pm term time only.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
£6.50 per hour for childminding - Not including meals, nappies or wipes.

I feel incredibly lucky to have found such a wonderful childminder for my daughter. From the very beginning, she has created a safe, caring, and nurturing environment where my daughter has truly thrived. Being a first time mum, I was very nervous sending my daughter, but she settled in very quickly with Ana.
My daughter is always happy and excited to go, which speaks volumes. It’s clear how much love and attention she gives to each child, and I have seen such positive development in my daughter’s confidence, social skills, and learning.
Communication has always been excellent — I was updated regularly, with photos throughout the day which gave me real peace of mind. Inaya loved the regular trips to the park and plenty of outdoor play.
I couldn’t recommend Ana highly enough. I am so gutted that we have had to cut this journey short. Thank you so much for what you have done for Inaya. We will miss you!!

My 3-year-old daughter has been attending Shabana’s setting since January this year, after her previous childminder had to close her business. Shabana provides a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment with a wide range of toys and activities for the children to enjoy. She keeps me regularly updated on my daughter’s engagement and development, and often shares photos throughout the day. Most importantly, Kaia is always happy and excited to go to her, which gives me great peace of mind.

My son has been with Shabana for nearly 2 years and will be moving on to Nursery, we all will miss her very much! He has excelled with Shabana and has loved going to her every day. A beautiful clean home where children are loved and cared for, my anxieties of leaving my child went straight away when i could see how happy my son was going there. Thank you for everything could not recommend Shabana enough!
