About Me
I love being around children. I am a fully qualified music teacher and currently teach in both a primary and a secondary school. I have a wealth of experience teaching children from a wide variety of backgrounds and family set ups, as well as children with a vast range of support needs and learning difficulties.
I am very friendly and completely understand the responsibility of caring for someone else's children. My style of childcare is based of building positive relationships. I believe children should be free to express their emotions and feelings but also understand the importance of boundaries and routines in a young person's life.
My Experience
I have been a fully qualified teacher since 2020 and have been teaching in schools since then. I worked in Canada for a summer with children who have additional support needs meaning they struggle to cope in mainstream situations. Most of my experience has been working with children with various degrees of autism and ADHD.
I have recently achieved my level two qualification in BSL meaning I can teach in a deaf school and I am confident in delivering and introducing sign language into everyday conversations. I am a seasoned musician and love to teach children all about instruments and songs as well as performance skills which aid in confidence building and speech development.
My Qualifications
Fully qualified teacher. Predominantly based in secondary school however have been working between primary and secondary schools for the last three years. Currently teaching from P1 up to S6.
My Availability
I am looking to provide childcare/babysitting services throughout the summer holidays to help parents who may be working whilst their child/children are off school.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I charge £10 per hour for local families, any requests for further afield will be considered but will have an additional travel charge. Full day rates can also be discussed.
