My Summary

My Experience

I have worked in childcare since I was 18 years old, working with a wide range of ages, starting from 3 months to 11 year olds. I have experience with newborns since having my own daughter.

I started my childcare career as a Playworker role in an After School and Before School Club, working with children aged 4 - 11.
I then worked full time in a Montessori Day Nursery for 2 years, as a Nursery Nurse, with children from 3 months - 5 years old.
I then worked in a Day Nursery as a Nursery Manager, the Nursery age range was from 3 months - 5 years. I started in the nursery as the Room Leader in the baby room, with my main experience in 3 months - 16 months, i then progressed to become Deputy Manager and then Nursery Manager.

I then started my best career yet, when I got my first nanny job - I worked for a year as a full time nanny/housekeeper, for a 3 month old baby until she was 15 months.

Then I took my second nanny/housekeeper job with a family of three children, who I have been with for the past three years. The children I currently work with are now 3, 8 and 9 years of age.

The typical roles that I have taken on in my nanny jobs are food shops, organising the children’s weeks, attending medical appointment, attending baby groups, preparing and serving the children’s food, weaning from scratch, school drop off and pick ups, cleaning the house, washing, rotating children’s toys, sorting through outgrown clothes and selling on fb and Vinted for the family, etc. I strive to provide an easy life for the parents of the children I care for, so that when they come home from work they can relax and enjoy time with their children knowing that the housework is done and the children are cared for.

Since becoming a mum I have exclusively breastfed, so i now also have a lot of knowledge in this area.

I was the qualified SENCo at old nursery and trained with Derby University, to do my 'Early Years SENCo Qualification' and my 'Level 3 in Speech and Language' with ELKLAN. I also have experience at home with Autism and ADHD, with one of my family members.

My Qualifications

I have my CACHE level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator). I have done lots of childcare training courses since working in a nursery, the main ones being Safeguard Training level 5, First Aid Training, Food Hygiene, FGM and Prevent Duty.

I am a qualified SENCo and have a 'Early Years SENCo Qualification' and a 'Level 3 in Speech and Language' with ELKLAN.

I have a CACHE Level 2 in Understanding Behaviour That Challenges.

I have got A levels in Art, Health and Social Care and Travel and Tourism. Achieving a C, C and Distinction*

I passed all of my GCSE's, achieving grades C or above, including a C in Maths and a B in English.

My Availability

I am currently on maternity leave and due to go back to work in November when my baby will be nearly 9 months old.

My hours with my current employer are 7.30 - 5.30 Monday - Thursday, however due to the children all being at school from September, the family will no longer need full time hours.

Therefore I am looking for a new full time Nanny position or a part time nanny share/job for Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Friday.

My Fees

• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
