My Experience

My experience, over my last three years in childcare includes the following;

Providing a safe and fun environment for the children to learn and develop.

Setting up the areas for children and meeting educational and sensory needs.

Bodily care, including nappy changing and potty training.

Adhering to child safety, health and wellbeing and food safety standards.

Ensuring the children in my care are paramount, providing them with the love and care they need to grow and develop.

Time management is important, ensuring the children have a schedule, including their sleeping times, that suits the children in the setting.

Treating each child as an individual, providing them with support they require.

Time management and structure is very important to ensure the children have a schedule and balance in their routine.

I achieved a balance of professionalism and compassion which is needed for this work.

My Qualifications

2018 – May 2019 Belfast Metropolitan College
I achieved my level three in childcare, learning and development.

2013 - 2017 BSc (Hons) Sociology FT
University of Ulster Jordanstown
I graduated from my degree with a first class honors. I have completed many modules that are transferrable to work, all of which can be discussed.

Previous qualifications:
4 A levels in Geography, Sociology, Religious studies and English Literature
9 GCSEs, including Math (A) and English (A)

I also hold qualifications in paediatric first aid and child safeguarding.

My Availability

As I currently work in a children care setting during standard Monday to Friday working hours, I will be free to babysit weekday evenings and weekends.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £8.00 per hour

8 pounds per hour.
