About Me
I am a highly accomplished teacher who is regarded for the positive connections I make with the children I work with. I ensure to address the misconceptions that every child has in their education, so they have the confidence to apply their learning in and out of the classroom. I have spent two years learning to speak and read French.
My Experience
I have 8 years of primary experience and have worked for children throughout the primary age range. I have recently returned from teaching two years internationally in France. During this time, I have worked with small groups with children and supported children on a 1-1 basis to develop their understanding of the English language. I have a deep and comprehensive understanding of the English National Curriculum and supporting children to develop a confidence and love of learning.
I have taught children of a variety of abilities and needs and understand how to get them involved in education.
My Qualifications
I have a PGCE in General Primary with QTS. I have also gained a qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools.
My Availability
I am based in the South Shields area but can travel to Newcastle, North Tyneside, Sunderland and Gateshead.
Throughout the summer, I will be available daily both for in-person and virtual lessons.
